Events Celebrating Earth Day In Miami

APRIL 22 (Saturday) at 11:00am. Museum of Graffiti announces Reduce, Reuse, Remix: Graffiti Art for Better Earth! Location: Museum of Graffiti, 276 NW 26th St., Miami, FL. The novel exhibition presents artworks created with air pollution. The Exhibit will exclusively be presenting studio’s pieces of local artists who were using air-ink writing utensils.

All participating artists were given the Air-Ink materials to use by Rabble Wine Company, which takes a planet-first mentality in its work by reducing water usage, decreasing pesticides, protecting natural vineyard ecosystems, reducing carbon emissions, and working with, rather against, Mother Nature. The Grand Opening celebration at the Museum, April 22, at 7:30pm where guest can meet the artists, sample its responsible produced wine, take part in sustainable interactive activities, and bid on up-cycled bottle art with 100% proceeds to benefit the CLEO Institute, the only women-led non-profit, non-partisan organization in Florida exclusively dedicated to climate education, advocacy and engagement. In honor of Earth Day, is encouraging the reuse, and recycling of handbags to support Dress for Success Miami. On both dates, shoppers can bring their gently used handbags to Shops at Merrick Park for a chance to win an Italian designer Alma Tonutti bag 20% lino, ($345 value).
